It's been unusually warm here in SF for this time of year. Typically we'd be layering up in full force. These days the crisp air and fog burn off by 10:00 am and we're left peeling off our scarves and jackets. To combat this, and at the same time refresh my wardrobe for the new season - I've been playing with a few summer favorites and pairing them with fall essentials. This lightweight pleated skort and knit turtleneck combo feels just right for this transitional weather. It's a fun, easy, and extremely comfortable look I'm loving at the moment. I bought the skort on a whim, and so glad I did since it's on major sale here. My gut told me it might end up in my return pile, but I was quite surprised with how many outfit combos I was able to pair it with. It feels great to switch things up and go with the unexpected.
