I recently splurged on a few pairs of shoes I've had on my wish list. First up, these Balenciaga Speed Trainers! A little unexpected yes, but actually not — I'm quite the sneakerhead. I've come to realize I don't get to document a lot of my more casual, everyday outfits — and they pretty much revolve around comfortable kicks. Going to work on that! Really intrigued by the dad sneaker trend and we'll see if that's something I can confidently pull off!

 Since my go-to shoe has been sock boots, I felt elevated sock sneakers were the next step to take me into spring and summer. I've worn them non-stop with denim and leggings, and look forward to experimenting with dresses and shorts for the summer.
